We grow and deliver around 4.5 million houseplants to UK supermarkets every year . Our four principle crops are Chrysanthemums, Begonias, Orchids and Calla Lilies. Along with these, we grow a variety of crops at specific times of the year.

A very popular flowering plant which comes in a range of colours including pinks, yellows, oranges, reds and white.
- Position – Bright spot away from direct sunlight.
- Water – Keep soil moist but not soggy. Water sparingly in winter letting the surface dry slightly.
- Temperature – Between 16°C - 24°C.
- Feeding – During Spring and Summer feed every 2 weeks with a houseplant liquid fertiliser.
- General – Remove dead blooms to encourage new flowers.

Pot Chrysanthemums (back to top)
A very popular and versatile houseplant with a wide variety of different flower colours and shapes.
- Position – Bright light is essential, but should be shaded from midday sun.
- Water – Keep soil moist at all times. May need watering several times each week.
- Temperature – Between 10°C - 16°C.
- General – Remove dead blooms to encourage new flowers.

Calla Lily (back to top)
A distinctive, elegant flowered plant, available in pinks, whites, flames, yellows and sometimes black.
- Position – Cool and light, out of direct sunlight.
- Water – Allow compost to dry out until whole surface of compost goes light brown, do not allow plant to stand in water for more than 15 minutes.
- Feeding – Feed at each watering with a houseplant liquid feed.

Poinsettia (back to top)
A traditional Christmas plant grown for its beautiful rich red colour bracts which make ideal decoration in the home or at work. We grow this plant in a range of different sizes.
- Position – Plenty of light.
- Water – Do not over water. Allow to dry reasonably between each application.
- Temperature – Minimum 14°C, ideal temperature 16°C.
- General – Discard once the coloured bracts have finished.

Cyclamen (back to top)
A plant normally grown through the autumn and winter in a 10cm pot. Flower colours range from different shades of pink and mauve, bi-colours and white. Some of the plants also have a beautiful scent.
- Position – A cool spot, on a light windowsill. Keep away from radiators and draughts.
- Water – To avoid overwatering (the main cause of failure) allow compost to dry between each watering. Water from top but not into centre of plant or foliage. Do not stand in water.
- Temperature – Minimum 10°C, ideal temperature 17°C.
- Remove dead flowers by pulling away stem from the base, to prolong flowering.

Orchids (back to top)
Stunning display of large, delicately patterned flowers, which will last up to two months.
- Position – A light, warm position, away from direct sunlight and draughts.
- Water – Do not over water. Allow the compost to dry between waterings.
- Temperature – Between 16°C - 24°C.
- Feeding – Feed with a standard houseplant feed at half the recommended strength, once a month.
- General – Once if has finished flowering, cut the stems down to 10 cm from the base. Put the plant in a cool position for a month to encourage new flowers.
