50 Year Celebration

Hugh Stevenson began the first horticultural activity at our site in 1961 and we are proud to have built on his achievements to reach our 50 year milestone in 2011.

Orchid Expansion creates 10 new jobs

In October 2011 the first plants went into our new purpose built extension. As a result we have welcomed 10 new permanent members to our growing and packing teams. £3m has been invested in the project, including state of the art plant grading equipment, to enable us to supply our increasing customer needs.

Garden Beauty 5-a-side

Double H entered this charity football tournament organised by Lowaters Nursery on 24th September.
Two teams and a band of supporters travelled to Portsmouth on a gloriously sunny Saturday.
Our 1st team were runners up and helped to raise a health sum for charity.

Christmas Party

85 people attended our Christmas Party this year in a private room at the Captain’s Club in Christchurch.

A number of people took advantage of the luxurious accommodation to avoid a late night return home.

A good time was had by all!
